Village Council Meetings
First and Third Tuesday of the Month at 7:00PM
Gary Comer-Mayor
The Mayor is the chief executive officer of the Village, and is responsible for presiding at Council meetings and recommending people for appointment to various committees and commissions. The Mayor also has the same duties as a council members.
Chuck Bertschman- Council President
When the Mayor is absent, the president pro tem (who is appointed by the Council) presides at council meetings and exercises all powers and duties of the president. The president pro tem also has the same duties as a council member. Chuck also serves on the following Committees: Safety, Finances, and Cemetery.
The Council Members are the legislators for the Village. There are five trustees, in addition to the mayor and president pro tem. They are responsible for the approving the budget, approving payment of bills, adopting ordinances, setting tax rates, and any other Village business that may come before them.
Lee Harbour - Council Member - Lee serves on the following committes: Safety, Chairman for Streets & Cemetery Trustee.
Gloria Armstrong- Council Member- Gloria serves on the following committes: Parks & Recreation, Transportation & Street, Community Planning.
Sue Walls- Council Member- Sue serves on the following committees: Library, and Finances.
Jenny LeClair- Council Member- Jenny serves on the following committees: Safety, Parks & Recreation, and Transportation & Streets.
Jennifer Ganson- Council Member- Jennifer serves on the following committees: Safety, Transportation & Streets, and Joint Sewer Board
Linda Harford- Fiscal officer and Taxation Superintendant- Serving the council, she administers all oaths of office, records all proceedings, resolutions and ordinances, and manages the village's elections
